Gull pond is on left, Higgins Pond or second pond as it was known then in the middle, and Williams Pond or third pond is on the right. This area, as was most of the Cape, was heavily logged in the 1800's for home heat and to support whaling ship blubber processing fires on board sailing ships while at sea.
